Dr. Anthony Speroni, in his personal life, is an advocate, consumer, user, and practitioner of natural medicine, but he is not a chiropractor, medical doctor, osteopath, or other type of allopathic practitioner; therefore, he does not practice conventional, traditional, or allopathic medicine.  Dr. Speroni's work and consultation services as a complementary and alternative medicine practitioner require no dangerous equipment, no protective hardware; and are dignity preserving, non-prescriptive, non-diagnostic, and noninvasive; while neither commanding the use of nor employing any prescription pharmaceutical agents or application practices.  Please see disclaimer.

FINANCES and PAYMENTS POLICY.

This is my finances and ability to pay policy:  Dr. Anthony Speroni neither accepts nor denies appointments to anybody due to their financial circumstances.  This means that you will not be refused an appointment solely because of a lack of funds or your inability to pay for services provided.  It also means that you will not be granted an appointment solely because of your ability to pay.  Do not allow the lack of funds to affect your present health and long-term well-being.  Even people who have no ability to pay are considered for appointments.  If finances are a concern of yours, indicate your concern and describe your circumstance on the second page of the New Biopat Intake Form.  You may also contact me directly (by e-mail or telephone [number above]) to discuss your situation.

This is my payment policy:  Payment for services, in accord with the fees and services schedule that appears below, is due either before or immediately at the end of your appointment.  During your first appointment, if you need to make payment arrangements, please indicate so on the second page of the New Biopat Intake Form.  If you are unable to pay, or need a subsidized payment plan, or need to pay for services and fees based on a diminished payment scale, please indicate such prior to your first appointment.  Payment methods accepted:  Cash, check, money order; and credit cards are accepted through the payments page on this website.  Note:  It is highly unlikely that any services or fees will be covered by or paid for by a mainstream health insurance policy.

HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY

This is my policy regarding health insurance claims.  Please be advised that it is my opinion that the best way to serve the people who live in a free society and are interested in natural medicine is to remain at liberty to provide information, support, and counsel based on the needs, preferences, and conditions of these individuals, and not necessarily in consideration of what is in vogue, politically correct, or pleasing to certification boards and insurance companies.  Therefore, the services I provide are never based on what is approved by some insurance company.  For this reason, I do neither file insurance claims nor assist in the processes related to insurance claims.  Accordingly, I neither bill insurance companies nor accept insurance assignment.  Further, I do not respond to insurance inquiries regarding clinical notes, patient histories, subject evaluations, or other such information. 

Moreover, I do not participate in the US Medicare or Medicaid programs.  Thus, I am not subject to government fixed-pricing controls nor am I limited to Medicare/Medicaid service restrictions. 

Finally, although I cannot guarantee nor will I attempt to even predict what coverage your health insurance carrier may provide for any type of service(s), or to what reimbursement benefits you may be entitled, I can, upon request by you, provide a receipt for my services and a partially-completed standardized Health Insurance Claim Form which any doctor can assist in completing.  These documents may aid you while you are seeking reimbursement from your health insurance company.o:p>

APPOINTMENT POLICY.

Once an appointment is set with you and the mutually agreed upon time and place are confirmed, you are expected to appear for that appointment in a fully prepared and punctual manner.  All late arrivals for appointments are not pro-rated in fees.  This means you will be financially responsible for the full amount of time for which the appointment was scheduled to run, even if you are late.  All missed appointments that are not canceled at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start time of a respective appointment incur a $150 charge.  If you need to reschedule, make sure you contact me or my office at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start time of a respective appointment or a $150 charge will be incurred on your account.  Sending an e-mail is not considered making arrangements 24 hours ahead of time.  All appointment reschedules and cancellations must be done over the telephone or in person.

Finances, payment, and appointment setting policies notwithstanding, please be advised that Dr. Anthony Speroni reserves the right to refuse an appointment with anybody; and, at his own discretion, to not counsel people on a select or all subjects during an appointment; and he may exercise these rights without giving prior notice or explanation.
